A Calishite man in a fur-trimmed coat of black wool sits with his feet crossed atop the table in front of you, smoothing an immaculately groomed mustache and beard sits with his fingers. He wears a white keffiyeh, a traditional Calishite headdress, atop his headfestooned with a badge bearing the emblem of the Lords' Alliance. At his hip is a longsword - clearly quite old - set with a large, cracked ruby set in the pommel. His right hand rests on it, appearing at times to issue it a loving caress.

"It's been too long since I've been back to Mulmaster. I can't say that I am blameless in this, however; I didnt really leave under the best of circumstances," he says with a casual shrug. "But hey, we have to sleep in the beds we make, yeah?"

"If you asked me a handful of tendays ago if where I'd be when it came to this day, I'd probably give you a different answer. Mulmaster is my home, and I love her like I do my own mother. But sometimes mothers oust their offspring from their nest, his face grows dark as he continues. "I am no baby bird to fly away and not look back, though."

"But now, the nest is infested with snakes, and they whisper vile things in my mother's ear. These snakes would steal her nest and lay their own eggs within it. They would trick my mother into hatching their progeny, believing them to be her own children, while oblivious to the fact that they will poison her, squeeze her life from her breast, and consume her when they become big and strong enough to do so."

He chuckles for a moment and casually brushes a mote of dust off of his coat. "You can see why I have come back. It is time to draw the snakes from the nest; to cut their heads off and throw them on the dusty ground. This is where you come in. I won't stop until I have taken back the nest for my mother, and if I can't, then I will see it burnt it to the ground. If you've come to help me, I welcome your help, but if you've come to stand in my way, then pray to a god of your choosing that I don't find out, because your bones will rest among the ashes when I am done."
